Urban Design and Building Services (UDBS) is proud to present the successful completion of the new housing development on Britannia Road in Rowley Regis. Our team collaborated with Sandwell Council’s Housing Partnerships Team to bring this project to life, providing various services including architecture, engineering, landscaping, quantity surveying, and project management.
The project involved the demolition of a former school science block and the removal of contaminated soil before construction could begin. Our chosen contractor, Seddon Construction, executed the build precisely, utilizing a crane to minimize vehicular movements and streamline the construction process.
Thanks to grant funding from Homes England, we were able to create ten new homes on the site, ranging from two-bedroom to four-bedroom houses. One of the highlights of the development is the inclusion of electric vehicle charging points, making it a forward-thinking and sustainable community.
The houses on Britannia Road are now fully occupied, providing much-needed housing in the area. UDBS is pleased to have been a part of this transformative project and looks forward to continuing to contribute to the development of vibrant and sustainable communities in the future.
