Project Description

Sandwell council’s £12 million-pound integrated health and social care centre is now complete in Rowley Regis.

The facility provides 80 en-suite bedrooms for a mix of nursing care and social care beds to residents across the borough. With integrated communal spaces that provide a safe environment for socialisation.

The design boasts a clean, simple familiar environment for short stay residents to enable them to receive care on their way to return home.

The ground floor will provide dementia care and provides a great connection to the purpose designed landscaped garden with integrated ‘wandering loop’ which continues internally, allowing residents freedom of movement and independence.

The building will use air source heat pumps and photovoltaics to assist with its sustainability credentials which will see the building outperform the requirements of current building regulations. The building has also received a category A EPC rating.
