Work has commenced on the refurbishment of the 3 passenger lifts in Sandwell Council House, which are 28 years old.
Lift 1 is now complete and in service. Work has commenced on Lift 2 and should be completed in November, with Lift 3 to be completed by February 2020.
The new lift cars will be bright and modern, with a fixed notice board.
