Integrated Working Training
Since September 2010 the ISA / Early Help training has been called Integrated Working Training. Working with our partner agencies, we have identified all key practitioners who will be trained in this new way of working. The training has been well received and the level of involvement and interest has been extremely positive.
Please not that is it is recommended that the Integrated Working Training is completed before the eCAF Training.
eCAF Training
The current Early Help Assessment (EHA) is the most appropriate mechanism for practitioners to access and share data quickly and easily.
Our local Early Help System (eCAF) allows a practitioner to electronically create, store and share a EHA securely. The eCAF system gives practitioners from different sectors appropriate access (following explicit consent) to key information concerning the assessment to allow them to participate in the delivery of the most appropriate services.
Once you have completed Integrated Working Training you can apply to attend eCAF training.
Lead Professional
Lead Professional training is a key element of integrated support. The Lead Professional is central to the effective delivery of integrated services to children and families who require support from a number of practitioners ensuring they experience a seamless and effective service.
The Lead Professional takes the lead to co-ordinate provision and act as a single point of contact for a child and their family when a range of services are involved and an integrated response is required. The training provides an outline of the role of the Lead Professional, selecting the appropriate Lead Professional, skills required to be a competent Lead Professional including dealing with difficult situations, accountabilities.
Lead Professional training is aimed at practitioners that are considered to be the most appropriate to act as Lead Professionals. The Lead Professional may be based in any sector of the children, young people or family workforce.
