Our service is for children and young people aged 5-18 years with a Sandwell GP.

Summary of services
Sandwell CAMHS is a specialist mental health service commissioned to provide interventions to young people and their families who are experiencing mental health problems and present with concerns that are severe/complex in nature. Within the service there is a range of staff including nurses, doctors, psychologists, family therapists, psychotherapists and social workers. We provide evidence based talking therapies (group and individual) and medication in line with National Institute of Clinical Excellence guidelines. The Crisis and Home Treatment team offer support to young people who present in acute mental health crisis.
Time details
Core CAMHS operate Monday to Friday 9-5 but we are flexible and can sometimes see young people outside of those times. CAMHS Crisis Intervention and Home Treatment team operate seven days a week 8-8.
