Many of our at-home clients receive Home Instead Care as a result of a direct approach to us by their families, but we also have strong links with medical practices, social agencies and charities, which utilise our comprehensive services or recommend them to their clients. Much of our work involves liaison with care homes and independent living centres providing individual residents with a higher level of care when extra help is needed. We can also provide valuable staff assistance during busy times of day or when staffing levels require some external support. Whilst our principal services involve the day-to-day care of older people in their own homes (and in care homes), we also provide a range of specialist services, which include Alzheimer's and dementia care, convalescence care - and respite care, for families who need a break from day-to-day caring duties.
Summary of services
From a few hours a day, up to 24 hours 7 days a week we provide a full care service to match the needs of the individual. Whether our services are companionship, home help or personal care we will support you in remaining at home in a holistic and person centred way. Our services will be reliable and responsive with the purpose of improving the quality of life of older people, helping them remain independent in their own homes and to keep their dignity. We deliver this through our CAREGivers who are the heart of Home Instead Senior Care.Our CAREGivers are chosen for their empathy and compassion; they are fully insured, carefully checked, scrutinised and receive extensive training before being personally matched and introduced to the client. We take time to get to know our clients and their families so we understand their needs and expectations before matching them with their CAREGiver. It is by listening to the client and their family that we ensure the quality of our service is to the highest standards.
