One-to-one citizen advocacy for vulnerable adults in Sandwell is both reactive and proactive in responding to referrals. Professional support is time-limited, focussing on a particular issue or a number of issues until the work is resolved. This prevents abuse and exploitation of vulnerable people by promoting independence, wellbeing and choice.
