Summary of services
The properties offers fully adapted accommodation able to meet the needs of wheelchair user and visually impaired people. All the service users have individual bedrooms and the use of extensive internal and external communal space. As well as being specifically adapted, the accommodation also benefits from specialist equipment such as sensory rooms and Jacuzzi baths. The unit also benefits from the provision of wheelchair accessible transport which facilitates the day care and social activity programmes. The staff team are very experienced and well qualified and are dedicated to caring for and meeting the needs of their service users and families.
The unit has a very active social programme based in the local community and also offers a number of holidays each year for each resident. Pedmore Walk enables people with even the most profound disabilities to live in ordinary housing in the heart of their community.
