Sandwell Council`s Approved List of non-residential service providers
Summary of services
This approved list contains details of independent sector providers of non-residential care that have been approved by Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council for its own purposes and having regard to its own criteria. A provider's presence on the list should not be taken as a guarantee of their quality or suitability. Likewise, the absence of a provider from the list should not be taken as necessarily indicating their unsuitability for meeting the needs of an individual who purchases services on a private basis.
The list is made available to the public for information only and the Council can accept no liability for any arrangements made privately.
Organisations providing domiciliary care, day care or supported living services can apply to be on the Approved List, acceptance is granted if the necessary documentation and standards are met.
Organisations do not have to be approved to appear in this directory.
Approved providers will be shown as `Approved`.
Providers in the relevant categories that are not approved will be shown as `Not approved`.
Providers in categories outside of those relevant for approval will be shown as `Not applicable`.
If an approved provider is suspended or removed from the Council`s approved list they will be shown as `Suspended` or `Removed`.
