Who is the service for?
We are looking for volunteers aged 16+ that can visit elderly socially isolated people in their own homes. Days and times are agreeed between both parties dependent upon volunteer availability.
Referral route
Contact St Albans for an application form, you will then be invited in for an interview.
When are the services run?
Office open 9.00 - 5.00 however befriending takes place at any time dependent upon availability.
Remit
We are looking for volunteers aged 16+ that can give 1 - 2 hours per week to visit lonely, socially isolated elderly people in their own homes.To reduce social isolation in some of the most members of the community by poroviding volunteers that can visit them and accompany them to any number of social activities.

No charge for client or volunteer. Volunteer travel expenses paid.
