The following council teams help residents to find employment and/or training.
Think Sandwell Employment and Skills team
Think Sandwell support people of all ages (16+) to find and get into jobs, apprenticeships and short training courses.
If you are looking to:
- Start your career
- Return to the workplace after a break
- Get a new job or apprenticeship
- Change career or find work after being made redundant
Think Sandwell offer impartial advice and guidance on your options.
We provide employability support such as CV help and interview practice, and can also help you to find funded training to improve your skills to move into work.

Connexions
Connexions Sandwell is a support service for young people aged 13 to 19 (or up to the age of 25 for young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities).
Connexions offers career information, advice, guidance and practical help about education, training and employment.
Think Sandwell Specialist Employment Team
The Think Sandwell Specialist Employment team supports residents with a disability or mental health condition who would like to find or return to work but would need additional support to do so.
To access this service you must be a Sandwell resident, unemployed, have a disability or mental health condition and want support to find paid employment.
