Important notice

The date shown for representation against each entry is the date by which a responsible authority or any other person may make representations in respect of the application.

Representations, which must be about the impact of the grant upon the licensing objectives, must be made in writing.

Applications may be inspected at the offices of licensing section which are situated at General Licensing Team, Sandwell Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury, B69 3DE by prior appointment during office hours Monday to Friday. Licensing Act 2003 application to review a current premises licence

The Old Crown, 56 Sandwell Road, West Bromwich, B70 8TG

An application for a summary review has been made by a senior police officer of West Midlands Police, in their opinion the premises are associated with serious crime and serious disorder or both.

The holder of the Premises Licence, other persons and Responsible Authorities may make representations in respect of the review to the Licensing Authority between the 17 March 2025 and 27 March 2025

A full variation application has been made by Bearwood Snooker Complex Limited, the current licence holder for Windsor Complex, to allow the following:
 
1. No changes to the existing licensable activities and times or conditions on current premises licence.
2. Adding the licensable activity of indoor sporting events.
3. To extend the licensable area to the two upper floors to create both a function room (first floor) and a match play snooker and pool room (second floor). In total, the premises will be licensed over three floors including the ground floor which is presently licensed.
