Sandwell Museum Service has a range of different sites, full of surprises, across the borough. Most of them are free to visit, and provide a host of different activities and experiences for you to discover.

Oak House Museum
Oak House is a delightful half timbered farmhouse dating from the late sixteenth century, furnished with a fine collection of Jacobean furniture. Find out more about visiting the Oak House including our opening times and how to get there.
Haden Hill House Museum and Haden Old Hall
A Victorian gentleman's house, furnished in period style surrounded by 55 acres of award winning parkland. The house stands adjacent to Haden Hall, a restored Jacobean mansion open to the public several times each year. Wednesbury Museum and Art Gallery
A Victorian Art Gallery which houses Victorian paintings, old toys and an internationally important collection of Ruskin Pottery. Temporary exhibitions also run throughout they year, as well as a lively events programme and activities for schools. Bromwich Hall - The Manor House Museum

Bishop Asbury Cottage

Tipton Community Heritage Museum

Galton Valley Pumping Station
Situated on the Birmingham Main Line Canal, the restored pumping station gives an insight into some of the most important and historic civil engineering feats in the area, including the world famous Galton Bridge and life and work on the canals.
