Sandwell Council is excited to have partnered with Walk the Plank to present the Fire Garden.
Walk the Plank is transforming Sandwell Valley Victorian Garden at Sandwell Valley Visitor Centre into a wonderland of fire sculptures and visual artistry, taking place on Friday 8 November and Saturday 9 November.
This new, family-friendly event is an immersive experience for all ages showcasing animated fire sculptures inspired by the natural environment such as fire breathing copper flowers, scorching sculpture trees, The Flaming Daisy Chain, whose cogs ignite in a continuous fiery cycle and much more. All sculptures are hand-crafted by some of the UK's most passionate and talented artists, makers, blacksmiths and engineers.
Each ticket allows you 30 minutes to explore the wonders and warmth of the Fire Garden, please be on time to guarantee your visit slot. Before and after your entry time, you are welcome to stroll through the night market, visit delicious food vendors and local stall holders.
Sandwell Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods and Community, Councillor Suzanne Hartwell, said:
“This event is a first for Sandwell and promises to be a magical experience for all the family. The hand-crafted fire sculptures will create an exciting, engaging spectacle full of wonder.”
