Tipton area action plan

The Tipton Area Action Plan (AAP) will provide a land use framework to guide development in a specific part of Tipton.

The Tipton Area Action Plan (AAP) was adopted on 30 September 2008.

The purpose of the Tipton Area Action Plan is to provide a land use framework to guide development arising from a number of pressures, and seeks to balance the needs of the existing residential and business communities with the need for regeneration.  The AAP plans positively for land use change, rather than depend on "windfalls" for development.  It seeks to promote delivery of identified sites and introduce more certainty for the area.
