  • demonstrate an ability to lead, review, develop and implement policy change as a member of our senior leadership team
  • be approachable with excellent communication skills
  • have the confidence to lead on staff training and professional development
  • have developed exceptional practice through their ethos and their current practice
  • have experience of leading a subject or phase and have up to date knowledge of this area
  • have a good understanding of the use of tracking, assessment, monitoring and data analysis as an effective tool to accelerate progress and raise achievement
  • be keen to learn and develop their skills as a school leader

Main areas of responsibility will include:

  • leading the phase to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
  • a 0.4 teaching commitment with dedicated leadership time
  • supporting the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher with data analysis and pupil tracking
  • other key areas to be agreed upon appointment
  • supporting staff with teaching and learning
