The Campus caters for young people (KS3), who have been permanently excluded or are at risk of permanent exclusion due to behavioural difficulties. The majority of pupils are from schools within the west collaborative. The aim of the campus is to carry out intervention work with pupils that will enable them to return to mainstream school or other appropriate educational provision.

Woden's Rise is part of a collaborative that includes six secondary schools in the North of the Authority. The campus provides for permanently excluded pupils and those at risk of exclusion with full reintegration as an aim for all pupils (KS3).
