Online services

Sandwell libraries' online services allow you to search the library catalogue and a range of information resources.

You can search the catalogue to find all of the items located in any Sandwell library and also to search for items in other libraries outside of Sandwell.

All you need to access the full range of services is your library card number, and a PIN which our staff can set up for you.

  • Go Citizen - Online study for candidates preparing for the Life in the UK test
  • Theory Test Pro - Driving test simulations along with official questions, hazard perception video clips and the Highway Code.

COBRA service available for customers

COBRA is a comprehensive and continually updated information resource providing advice and support to micro-business owners, small firms and new business start ups.

It includes:

  • over 700 business start-up profiles and guides to business start-up ideas
  • business information factsheets - how to's and practical small business checklists, from business plans to personnel, tax to marketing
  • UK market synopses - guides to trends and opportunities in a number of UK market sectors, with market research
  • local area profiles - guides to business support in 290 local areas in the UK

Ancestry Library

Use one of our free computers in any library to access Ancestry Library, to find birth, marriage and death records from around the world.
