SPOOCS is a national project aimed at year six students preparing for SATS and revising literacy skills.
The project was filmed at the Oak House so it is the ideal place to visit to undertake further investigations.However you can also undertake investigations at the Manor House too.
Your own investigations
You are welcome to visit to undertake your own activities and investigations. Museum staff will give a 5 minute H&S introduction to the house and very brief introduction and you will have access to our classroom facilities for a small charge.This is a teacher led session, the Oak House do not provide any activities.
You can visit for half a day or a full day - and up to 2 classes are able to be on site at once. However only one class at once are allowed inside the house.
There is a Small charge for the use of the classroom and staff time.

Petrified staff at their whits end welcome your class to the Oak House and take them on a ghostly tour of the building and undertake some ghost hunting activities as they go. But where are those noises coming from?
Tour in the morning and investigation activities take place in the afternoon.
