Hurst Road Community Centre
Built in 1935 the Hurst Road building acted for many years as a Church Hall and was even used during the war as a refuge for local people during bombing raids. During the 1960's the building became a community facility and today hosts a number of activities that vary from tea dances to martial arts groups.
