Tanhouse Community Centre
The Tanhouse Centre was opened in 1992, having previously been a school building, to provide a multi-purpose facility for the residents of the Hamstead area. The centre now offers a range of activities and services, including Hamstead Library and atrificial football pitch, for the community to access. The centre also has an excellent hall (with kitchen) available for parties.
