I’m worried I won’t have enough space in my bins.
We understand this change may take time for residents to get used to, but evidence from many other authorities across England proves that this frequency and method is adequate for most households. It will mean residents have to think about reducing the waste they generate by ensuring the correct separation of waste into appropriate bins.
For larger families or families with specific needs (such as medical needs), larger bins may be provided based on an assessment of needs. Similar arrangements are already in place for households with specific needs.
If you have additional waste, this can be disposed of at the Household Recycling Centre (the tip) at Shidas Lane, free of charge.
