The Consumer Standards
We are committed to improving our service for tenants and have initiated a wide-ranging housing transformation programme.
We're prioritising the most urgent health and safety related works first, and we're also looking closely at our systems, processes and data to better understand what works have been completed and what is outstanding.
By carrying out checks and surveys in homes and updating our records, we're gaining a better understanding of the condition of council homes in Sandwell, so we can best direct investment and prioritise work where it is most needed.
There are 22 measures set out in the Consumer Standards that we are required to meet. Through our housing transformation programme we are also aiming to ensure that our services for tenants are set up we can continue to meet and improve on how we are delivering the rest of the Consumer Standards.
