Birmingham Jazz and Blues Festival

Saturday 20th July 12:00pm -Florence Joelle .  Bromwich Hall – Hall Green Road, West Bromwich B71 2EA. Florence Joelle is a Paris-born singer, songwriter, harmonica player and recording artist. Her music is a blend of jazz, music of the Paris streets, vintage and contemporary blues, gypsy folk and fifties R&B. Tea. coffee and snacks available. The house is open 11am onwards for you to look around. Bring a picnic to enjoy in the grounds. Indoor gig

Friday 26th July, 7:00pm, Rich Dickinson’s Driving Force.  Wednesbury Museum, Holyhead Road, WS10 7DF. Rich Dickinson’s Driving Force is an original power rock band who play some covers. Why not bring your own posh picnic and drinks along (please keep food/drink to your tables though). Tea and coffee available to buy.                                                                                       

Saturday 27th July 12:00pm Bruce Adams Quartet. Wednesbury Museum, Holyhead Road, WS10 7DF. Bruce Adams’ legendary richness of trumpet tones. Why not bring a posh picnic and drinks (please keep food to your table and take rubbish away with you) Tea and coffee available to buy.                                                                                                                                        

Sunday 28th July 2pm Warren James Skiffle Group (family fun and entertainment from 12pm, gig from 2pm). Haden Hill House Museum, Off Barrs Road, Cradley Heath. B64 7JUA   talented banjo player, guitarist and singer of vintage skiffle, jazz, country, rock 'n' roll and blues music of the 1920s, 30s, 50s and 60s. Outdoor gig if the weather is fine, bring a picnic chair or blanket and a picnic. Tearoom open.                                                                                                                     

Sunday 28th July. 2pm (gig at 2:30pm) Chick Wren’s Rollin’ River Band. Oak House Museum, Oak Road, West Bromwich, B70 8HJ. A collective of seasoned musicians delivering soulful, original renditions of blues, soul, R&B, and rock and roll classics. With years of experience, our band brings authenticity and musicianship to every performance. Outdoor gig if weather fine, bring a picnic chair or blanket and a picnic. The house is open from 11am for you to look around.

All our gigs are free and there is no need to book. Just turn up!

* You don't need to book to visit on normal open days unless stated but you may need to book for some activities or events. See the listings for details. We always say if booking is required.

* We are unable to accommodate pushchairs, please leave them in the designated areas outside buildings

* Assistance dogs only at our sites. There is some limited access to part of our grounds at Oak House for dogs and Haden Hill House is in a public park.

* we will post any unforseen closures or restricted access to our sites on our Sandwell Museums Facebook page.
