Kite Day. Make a kite, buy a kite, fly a kite. Thursday 1 August 11am-3pm. Drop in kite making workshop £3 per kite. 20% off kites for sale in the museum shop – this day only!
Chess Club Thursday 1 and Friday 2 August 11am-3pm. Come along and learn some ace chess moves or show off your skills. 
Playful Craft Workshops with Spectra. Friday 2 August 11am-3pm. Free drop in workshop.

Creative Eco Crafts with Courtney Thursday 8 and Friday 9 August 11am – 1pm, 1.30-3pm. Drop in workshops suitable for children over 6 years. £3 per participant
Bug Hunting 8 and 9 August 11am – 3pm. Hire a bug hunting kit and search in the park for mini beasts. £2 per kit hired.

“Chill” 15, 16 August

Mindful Mosaics Thursday 15 August 11am-3pm. Make a mosaic picture using colourful paper and stickers. Drop in workshops suitable for children over 3 years. £2 per participant

Chilled out Candle Making Friday 16 August. Bookable workshops £5 per participant. 11am-1pm 8-12 year olds

“Explore” 22, 23 August

Make your own coat of arms with artist Luke Perry. Thursday 22 and Friday 23 August 11am-3pm. Explore the patterns, designs and history of Haden Hill House and be inspired to design and make your own coat of arms. Free drop in workshop suitable for ages 6 years and over. These workshops are supported by Powered by CAN

Treasure Hunt’ Trail.  Thursday 22 and Friday 23 August. Join in with the free trail around Haden Hill House and explore the stories of the Haden family 

Fantastic Journeys present Sir Simon Snaffle and his Intergalactic Orchestra (An interactive performance for children with Additional Needs) Saturday 24 August 2pm and 3.30pm. World famous conductor Sir Simon Snaffle has lost all his instruments. They are scattered across the universe.  He needs your help to find them. Join Sir Simon and his mysterious side kick, Socks in an intergalactic, interactive musical adventure.  The performance will include singing, dancing, instrument playing and interacting with puppets and other multi-sensory items. £5 per participating child.
