How can I update my housing application? You can update your application using the Housing Registration Change of Circumstances form
I am a Sandwell Council tenant, how can I update you about a change to my current tenancy information? Log onto MySandwell and sign in or register for My Account
What information can I change? You can request to change personal information relating to your tenancy
- tenant's name - following marriage, divorce or name changes via deed poll
- add an occupant - someone who has moved into your property and now lives with you
- remove an occupant - someone who has moved out of your property and no longer lives with you
- update an occupant - make corrections to spelling of name, date of birth etc
- add/remove/update contact details - phone or email
Can I add or remove a tenant? If you want to request either a joint or sole tenancy you will need to complete the relevant request form and provide all of the information and proofs required. You can also do this via my.sandwell.gov.uk
Do I need to provide proof? Yes, if you are requesting to change the name of a tenant, proof can either be a:
- marriage certificate
- decree absolute
- deed poll certificate
No, if you are adding, removing or amending an occupant, however we may need to request proof of ID later should you request a move or require a priority assessment
